Halloween projects review

Friday, October 30, 2015

Hello friends! It's hard to believe it's almost Halloween! Costumes...check! We don't get any Trick or Treaters at our place so thankfully I don't have to buy any candy. Lily is pretty excited as 8 is a prime age for dressing up and going door to door.
Of course I am dreading the temptation of all that candy in the house. You know what I mean, right?

OK so here's a round up of the rest of this year's Halloween cards I created.

These were created with Anna Griffin's fabulous glitter cardstock and dies for HSN.

Have a Spooktacular Friday!

Fun with Eyelet Outlet Washi Tapes

Wednesday, October 14, 2015

Hello friends! Today I am sharing some fun creations using Wtape designs from Eyelet Outlet.

For the first card I just started layering the different widths of Washi tape across a white piece of cardstock I cut at 4 x 5 1/3. I added the Hello Sentiment die from Mama Elephant and a gold heart to accent.

Supplies: Eyelet Outlet Washi Tape, Mama Elephant hello die
Adhesive: Therm-O-Web Memory Tape Runner XL  and 3D White Foam Squares

For the second card I used some washi tape with these beautiful butterfly images paired with glitter tape. I also used a sentiment die from Paper Smooches and added the Butterfly die cut image from My Favorite Things.

Supplies: Eyelet Outlet washi and glitter tapes, MFT Beautiful Butterflys Dienamics
Adhesive: Therm-O-Web Memory Tape Runner XL  and 3D White Foam Squares

I love how versatile Washi Tape can be for Card making. Check out our amazing selection of patterns and glitter tapes at EyeletOutlet.com/washitape.

Pretty Patterns from Anna Griffin

Hello friends. Today I am sharing some of my cards I created using Anna's Pretty Patterns cardstock collection. This collection has both A7 and A2 card bases and layers you can mix and match with your Foil Flourishes, 3D embellishments and sentiments.

Here's a few samples to help you get going on creating some cards of your own.

I layered a border behind this cardbase and it really creates a layered look.

Make sure to use your dies and bows to help add excitement to your cards.

Have a creative day!
